JC Maclean Int. FZCO is a Fit-out Company based in JAFZA and currently looking for a Payables Accountant.
Job Requirements:
• Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Ensuring all invoices are processed in line with internal controls and compliance.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
• Liaison with purchase, store, and site teams for the submission of vendor’s invoices.
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, for the vendor’s claimed amounts.
• Vendor’s balances reconcile with the accounts payable ledger.
• Strict monitoring for the release of advances to vendors and subsequent recovery.
• Record and allocate bank payments related to suppliers.
Education & Skills Requirements:
• Must be an accounting/commerce graduate with minimum experience of 3 – 5 years (Contracting sector experience will be an advantage)
• Advanced user of MS office.
• Knowledge of ERP and other accounting software.
• Complete knowledge of payables cycle, VAT, and reporting requirements.
• Effective interpersonal skills, ability to listen and communicate well to line management & subordinates
• Must be able to meet reporting deadlines & do multitasking.
