HIRING Assistant HR and Training Manager

Job Requirement:

  • Lead the complete Learning & Development (L&0) activities in your property.
  • Lead Millennium & Copthorne, MEA (ME.C) Onboarding process and tools for new hires in your property.
  • Conduct quarterly L&D Need analysis and prepare quarterly plan to ensure LED work on the real business needs,
  • Conduct Off-lob Training programme or all the colleagues -in line with the M&C, MEA Off-lob training library.
  • Write In-house training programmer as per the business needs in line with M&C Group Training skills programme.
  • Lead and coach On-job Trainers and monitor On-lob Training activities through the tools provided by the M&C, MEA Corporate Office
  • Improve the effectivity of off-Job Training programmes through coaching and regular follow ups
  • Together with Human Resources department lead the performance management process of your property and support departments in implementing their Personal Development Plans {POPS}
  • Timely submit Monthly L&D Calendar and LED Report to the M&C, MEA Corporate Office
  • Assist HR Department Head in directing and coordinating all employee and labor relations activities with in the hotel to ensure compliance with the law.
  • Develops and implements recruitment and screening systems and procedures to attract qualified candidates for vacancies. Assists Department Heads in recruiting activities,
  • Oversees the implementation of HR programs through HR team. identifies opportunities for improvement and
    resolves problems in the HR department.
  • Coordinate and assis HR Department Head in responding to grievances and employee complaints. Ensures disciplinary action is taken as required utilising consistency, fairness and respect.
  • Counsels employees and Supervisors on an ongoing basis. Determines and communicates standards of
    performance to employees
  • Ensure the HR reports are updated on time to carry out the functions of the department as well as to track
    ‘strategic goal accomplishment
  • Assisting HR Department Head in preparing annual HR/Training budget and developing & implementing all required policies & procedures
  • Create a positive work environment for all employees
  • Ensures that staff accommodation is in very good condition.
  • Oversee Staff Restaurant quality implement changes if necessary to increase staff satisfaction.
  • Coordinates for staff health insurance, holidays, pay roll related issues.
  • Stays current with the latest Human Resources development

The candidate should be/have:

  • Must have proven previous experience in similar position in the UAE
    with at least 2-3 years in hotel of 4/5* standard.
  • Excellent skills in working with business leaders and managers across the property to identify skill gaps, and delivering programming of all types, including classroom training.
  • Presentation Skills and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
