Roles & Responsibilities:-
Establishes secured networking environment by design, system implementation and system configuration.
- Defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
- Ensure optimum availability of IT Network Services to businesses & customers.
- Ensure safety, security and integrity of enterprise network and data.
- Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
- Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies.
- Reporting network operational status.
- Securing & monitoring the network accesses through optimum configuration of firewalls and other network security equipment.
- Managing and administering IP telephony system.
- Managing internet and email proxy for securing email traffic and Internet traffic.
- Organising preventive maintenance of IT infrastructure agreed by vendor as per Annual Maintenance Contract.
- Routine performance monitoring of IT Infrastructure & devices.
- Review of system generated alerts, notifications and timely actions/closures.
- Update of OS/Firmware patches and vendor recommended fixes.
- Annual/Bi-Annual/ Quarterly security updates as per defined information security-patching policies.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery procedures of IT Infrastructure and associated software components.
- To ensure documentation and availability of relevant policies, process and procedures, timely review, update and communication to ensure strict adherence.
